A 19th century mansion fully restored
We had an immediate crush in June 2020 for this old mansion abandoned in the middle of a park of nearly 7 ha of woods and meadows.
In 2 and a half years of work carried out by skilled craftsmen, we have endeavored to restore the lost cachet of this house.
Floor tiles, parquet floors, fireplaces, windows have been restored or changed.
We have completely taken over the insulation of the walls and partitions for optimal comfort.
We have taken the attention to detail to the point of installing porcelain switches and sockets, installing basements and double plinths by recovering as much of the materials already present as possible: the old doors have been stripped, reworked or transformed into the head of the bed (Le Verger guest room and its Louis XIV style door).
Some of the floor tiles on the second floor have been peeled off, stripped and then reinstalled.
The good quality cast iron radiators have been retained.
